On July 10, a meeting between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Jeyhun Bayramov and Ararat Mirzoyan, with the participation of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, concluded in Washington. The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported that the meeting, which was organized at Blinken's initiative, focused on the peace agreement and normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. 

During a tripartite meeting, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken acknowledged the significant progress made over the last year and a half toward negotiating and concluding a peace agreement. Blinken thanked both ministers for their efforts, stating, "Throughout this process, the United States has sought to be helpful and supportive, along with the European Union and many European colleagues. Today is an opportunity to take stock of the progress that's been made and what remains. But based on all of the engagements that we’ve had, including in recent weeks, I believe both countries are very close to being able to reach a final agreement, one that the United States would strongly, strongly support."
