Chechen Commander Foresees Conclusion of Ukraine War by September

During a meeting of the heads of the North Caucasus Federal District constituent entities in Grozny on February 19, Apty Alaudinov, the commander of the Akhmat special forces and deputy commander of the 2nd Army Corps of the Russian Armed Forces, suggested that the “special military operation” in Ukraine might conclude by September of the current year.
Alaudinov speculated that the operation could terminate by September, considering various factors such as the reduction in aid to Ukraine, particularly from the United States, and the significant losses suffered by Ukrainian forces in terms of manpower and equipment. He noted that the support for Ukraine was expected to diminish, especially by the time of the upcoming elections in the United States.
Highlighting the progress made by Chechen fighters, Alaudinov mentioned that they consistently capture strongholds effectively in various directions. He emphasized the significant results achieved while minimizing heavy losses, indicating the seriousness of the outcomes attained by the operation.
