
Chechen utility bills will have the highest increase in Russia

In 2022, Chechen utility bills will increase by the largest percentage in Russia, by 6.5%. Tariffs will change from the middle of the year.
In Dagestan, utility bills will rise by 6%, while in the Stavropol Territory they will not exceed 3.4%. In other regions of the North Caucasus and the South of Russia, the rent will grow by 3.7 - 5.4%.
It should be reminded that last year the highest limit indices were also set for Chechnya (6.5%).
The highest mortgage rate in Russia is recorded in the North Caucasus: in Chechnya, it reaches 8.11%, and in Ingushetia 8.22%. At the same time, the lowest rate is in two other North Caucasian republics: Karachay-Cherkessia (6.95%) and Kabardino-Balkaria (7.1%).
According to a study by the Civil Society Development Fund, the lowest average wages in Russia are in Chechnya - €366, Dagestan - €390, Kabardino-Balkaria - €390, and Ingushetia – €427.
In March of this year, Chechnya was in last, 81st place, in Russia in terms of average wages in the provinces. The situation is slightly better in Kabardino-Balkaria, which is on the 80th line of the rating. Dagestan took 78th place, Karachay-Cherkessia - 77th, Kalmykia - 76th.
