
France Expels Two Azerbaijan Diplomats

On December 27, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that two Azerbaijani diplomats were expelled.
"Paris takes into account that Azerbaijan has decided to declare two employees of the diplomatic staff of the French Embassy as persona non-grata. France categorically rejects the accusations made by Baku against its diplomats," the statement noted.
In response, France declared two employees of the Azerbaijani embassy in France persona non grata. "Azerbaijan's ambassador to France was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today and was told about this," the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized.
As previously reported by Caucasus Watch, on December 26, Baku declared two employees of the French embassy persona non grata, the Press Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan reported. The ministry informed that French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Anne Bouillon was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
