On March 20, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze arrived in Armenia for a working visit, where he held a private conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

During their meeting, Prime Minister Pashinyan thanked Kobakhidze for accepting the invitation to attend the football match between the national teams of Armenia and Georgia, which was held in Yerevan. The two leaders expressed confidence that the match had attracted significant interest from fans and emphasized that such events strengthen the longstanding ties between the Armenian and Georgian peoples. They also discussed key issues related to Armenia-Georgia relations. Pashinyan briefed his Georgian counterpart on the agreement reached regarding the draft text of the Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the completion of negotiations on the document.

Later, both prime ministers attended the match at the newly built Vazgen Sargsyan Stadium, where Georgia’s national team won the first Nations League playoff with a score of 3-0. The match was also attended by members of both governments. After the game, Kobakhidze met with members of Georgia's national football team to wish them success.
