On June 25, during the Annual Meeting and Business Forum of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), Bakyt Sydykov, the Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, announced that Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan had already compiled a portfolio of joint projects following the increase in the authorized capital of the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan Development Fund to $100 million. Sydykov stated that four projects are currently awaiting approval, while additional initiatives have successfully passed the preliminary selection stage. According to him, work on implementing the projects is progressing actively.

Commenting on the prospects for Azerbaijani oil exports to Kyrgyzstan, Sydykov described the initiative as a new area of bilateral cooperation that still requires further coordination. He noted that both countries are committed to advancing discussions but stressed that supply volumes have yet to be determined, as they must reflect Kyrgyzstan's demand and Azerbaijan's production capacity. "Right now, it is important to find the optimal balance," Sydykov emphasized. The minister also highlighted the importance of strengthening trade and economic relations before expanding investment cooperation. He stated that the priority is to increase bilateral trade and establish stable partnerships between companies, creating the foundation for future investment projects.

Sydykov further reaffirmed Kyrgyzstan's interest in participating in the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, also known as the Middle Corridor. He noted that Kyrgyzstan could contribute through the Southern Branch of the corridor, referring to the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, which is currently under construction.
