On March 11, during a ceremony where he received the credentials of ambassadors, including Giorgi Saganelidze, the Georgian Ambassador to Belarus, Belarusian leader Aleksandr Lukashenko stated that Belarus highly values and supports Georgia’s efforts to defend its statehood and sovereignty.
Lukashenko emphasized that these actions align with Belarus’s approach and stressed that Georgia should act in the best interests of its people. He highlighted the historical ties between the two nations, calling them a solid foundation for the resumption of full-fledged and comprehensive cooperation. He also assured that Belarus remains open to strengthening relations with Georgia, stating, "We have absolutely no problems in our relations with Georgia."

He concluded, "I think that if we try very hard, everything will work out."
