"Caucasian Eagle-2022" military exercises of the special forces of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia continue in Georgia.

According to the information of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, the special purpose units carry out the elements of air supply, attack objects with armored vehicles, seizure of buildings, parachute landing from helicopters and other flying machines.

On October 19, military personnel of the special forces of the three countries conducted demonstration exercises at the Vaziani Training Base. Major General Giorgi Matiashvili, the Commander of the Defense Forces of Georgia, watched the exercises.

The information states that the purpose of the "Caucasian Eagle-2022" exercise is to deepen the synchronization and coordination of the capabilities of special forces by the special operations units of the Defense Forces of Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey, exchange experience, increase interoperability and improve command and control in multinational battles.

The special-purpose groups participating in the "Caucasian Eagle - 2022" exercise will also share the experience of fire and medical training, combat in populated areas, and conducting special operations.

The tripartite "Caucasian Eagle - 2022" exercise of the special forces of Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey is held annually in all three countries on a rotational basis. Turkey hosted the training last year.
