USAID Increases Assistance to Armenia by $130 Million
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is boosting its assistance to Armenia by $130 million, bringing the total USAID investment in the country to $250 million. The Armenian Cabinet approved changes to the grant agreement, initially signed on June 29, 2022.
The additional funds will support efforts to institutionalize effective and accountable governance, enhance civic participation to strengthen democratic unity, improve economic management, and increase competitiveness in key sectors.
